Software and infrastructure portfolio

I'm Matt Magdon, a systems administrator and developer in Jessup, Pennsylvania. My work tends to sit where operations and software meet: reliable infrastructure, purpose-built tools, secure small-business websites, and fixes for specialized open-source systems.

VendRoute

Vending-route management software that I design, develop, host, and support. It helps bulk and crane-machine operators plan routes, record collections from a phone, track machines and commissions, close service calls, and export their data.

Small-business web development

A public website for a local granite company, built around clear information, fast loading, and a small attack surface. The project emphasized straightforward design and avoiding unnecessary dependencies.

No Nonsense Screen Recorder

A focused screen- and video-recording application created as a personal Rust learning project. The work combined a deliberately simple interface with a practical recording workflow.

LandSandBoat

Several fixes contributed to the open-source Final Fantasy XI server codebase, primarily addressing boss encounters and job abilities. The work required tracing game logic and making narrowly scoped corrections.

Development and creative contributions to the commercial arcade releases PIU Infinity and NeonFM, plus work on the early Android rhythm game Chip Beat Blaster.
